Listen, I’m not going beat around the bush, I’ve been to Wellingborough and it’s a nice place. Not the nicest, but not everything can be El Dorado. Being a nice place is perfectly fine, and we shouldn’t knock it for anything less. The place has a host of pubs, and sports are a pretty big deal. Cricket and rugby are a particular focus, but football plays its role too. It’s had its fair share of professional snooker players come from there, and they learnt there trade in one of the many bars in Wellingborough showing sport.
